Hello Everyone!

We're almost halfway through our campaign and are now 65% funded with over 200 backers! Welcome to our new friends~ ^_^ 

The artist Nalcyon has gotten back to us and wanted to add two new custom art-related tiers for any dedicated backers who may have missed out on the last limited sketches. So let's explain these art tiers that are drawn by Nalcyon.

Make One's Mark is our $100 tier - Sold out atm.

• Request a black-and-white character sketch from either series: Red Rebellion or Mizuchi. The level of complexity allowed may vary at her discretion.
• 300-350 DPI printable quality will be provided for you to print at home.

Make an Impact is our $200 tier (New!)

• Request a flat-colored characters sketch
• 300-350 DPI printable quality for self-printing
• It is similar to the example single-color Patreon sketches below, but this tier also allows for two characters to interact together, with the addition of more colors!

  **If you were curious, these were requested sketch busts of Robin and Red in modern clothes. Aren't they cute?

A Noble Cause is our $300 tier (New!)

• Own a one-of-a-kind A4 size watercolor painted sketch by the artist herself! (physical artwork)
• Nalcyon may also use gold and silver pigments
• One character or two characters interaction. Bust or waist high ideally, or at her discretion.
• It will be mailed to you for a flat $20 USD for international shipping from her residence.

These new tiers will have an added bonus of your name being listed in our Special Name Credit (Forever Remembered add-on)! And you'll receive all the digital goods of course.

The next update will most likely be an explanation of the add-on rewards with visual examples! We do have a pet we'd love to share with you ^.~ (no it's not the dire wolf lol).

Good day fellow merry folks!

Trying to sound medieval, but we sound oddly like a pirate huh? ^^;

We're so close to the 50% mark and only a week in! Thank you to our new backers and those that upgraded their pledges! *throws white rose petals*

Let's share a bit of our production work process.  We noticed a lot of Robin Hood movies tend to start with an introduction about the time period on an old tapestry. We sort of referenced it while maintaining a storybook vibe instead (: 

This is our CG director Candace's finalized storyboard of our opening scene sequence.  First we gave her access to all the images we had with certain rules to avoid spoilers. She is also an artist, and designed the shadow edge, sprites, and map below in her draft. 

Then we discuss with the other artists on the team, get more feedback, and share with the programmer, asking if renpy can do the effects okay. Candace makes more storyboard adjustments until we're all good. Then I prep all the remaining art assets myself and send them to DragoonHP to start programming. Then it's a constant tweak adjust tweak until everyone is happy and now the alpha demo is done, yay!

Now looking back... it seems we'll still need to tweak some things like the roses and fix the text timing, as one streamer Blerdyotome kindly pointed out that it was too fast for slow readers. So hopefully when the game is out someday, you'll forget all about this sequence and be amazed again by the future updated version ^^;

43% Whoo! Lets talk Stretch goals and New Add-On

Hello Everyone!

We have now reached 150 backers! Thank you!! We're also happy to present our first three stretch goals! If it looks familiar, you're absolutely right ^^; we're not very exciting compared to our game lol.

We're trying to keep the budget reasonable, but would love to make this game perfect! We'd like more art and music to accommodate the bigger world-building and cast. Our 3rd goal is an extra R15 love scene. This will take more work and time, so it's a bit further down the list. Our final numbers will be a bit dependent on how fast we can reach our funding goal and determine how much extra money we can devote to each section. For example, if we need an extra 10 songs but the numbers seem to have slowed down drastically, we'll probably ask for a goal closer to 5 songs instead. This way we can give you the bare minimum to keep this game as immersive as we can. But let's focus on the baby steps and reach that funding goal first! ^_^9

We are also in discussion with our artist Nalcyon, and will be adding some additional higher tiers into the mix once we nail out the details. A physical reward may be in the works(?!) since it'll be stored at her home instead of mine! ^^;

We are also adding a new add-on to this campaign: our very first yuri lesbian folklore visual novel game called Mizuchi! Promoting a comic nearing the last few days of their campaign: "Jackie and the Magical Guys!"

Synopsis: Meet sixteen-year-old Jackie, who’s never felt more like an embodiment of failure when her brilliant scientist mother sends her into the past to prevent the end of the world—because Jackie is pretty much the only person left alive to do so. But Jackie has never done fieldwork in her life nor researched what the year 2024 is like. And she doesn’t need the mounting pressure of finding strong female warriors that will save the planet when she can’t even find her own dignity.

But “failure” takes on a whole new meaning when out of desperation; Jackie uses the super soldier serum on four disgruntled guys instead, transforming them into magical girls. And now they refuse to help her because not only do they have to worry about getting chicks, but becoming chicks as well. So what’s a simple girl with a team of gender swapped boys to do?

Creator Amy also states "The main character is bisexual and there is LGBTQ romance in the mix."

Hello everyone! What an amazing start!! Thank you all for the early and fast pledges. ^_^ The team is extremely encouraged by all of this! And you'll be surprised how many times I had to edit the number on this image XD;

If you are new to our studio, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Roxie, and one of the co-founders of Aikasa Collective. I will be your primary source of communication on all updates every 1-2 months (big updates only) during the entire production. I also talk a lot, so fair warning! As creator and director, I did all the writing for Mizuchi, and will do so for the upcoming Red Rebellion's full story. I'm a massive research fiend, so if you have ever been to our Patreon, you'll know some of the historical facts and details we stuck in this game via clothes, background art, and culture ^^; Glossary terms are only the tip of this iceberg.

Did you know there is a MASSIVE number of Robin Hood books and movie derivatives, but there are only about... 4 lesbian versions of Robin Hood? Crazy small and yes I read 3 of them for research ^^; I'll stop myself here.

The last bit, I'll be working on next is probably the stretch goal ideas and finding more areas to market. Thank you to all those spreading the word so far!
